Big Changes in our Digital Future

First things first, I would like to take a minute and give Retired Brother and former Business Agent Mike Bodendorfer and his lovely wife Susan Bodendorfer a BIG Thank You! Mike & Susan brought Local 23 into the modern world. Susan graciously built and maintained our Local’s Site, and Mike introduced us to the power of Social Media. Currently our Facebook Page has 155 Likes, and Twitter has 87 Followers.

At the February Union Meeting we establish a WebSite Committee. Randy Carmony, Tyrone Hart, Joel Paulson and I have begun revamping and updating our current site. We have outlined our objectives and have few new idea’s. We are always looking for input from Members for ways to add functionality. Updates should begin happening more frequently, and we plan on utilizing the WebSite for more Real-Time communication.
